ASIA MINOR, Uncertain mint. Circa 240/35-230/25 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30.5mm, 16.93 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; caps of the Dioskouri to left. Petac & Vilcu, Tomis, Third Series, 14 (O2/R3); Price 1212 (Tomis). Lightly toned, obverse slightly double struck. VF. Very rare, only six of this series noted by Petac & Vilcu (including the sole example in CoinArchives), two additional in Pella.
