Soldiers standing left, raising arms and pointing at Gallia seated right, holding constitution / Legend in six lines. MNF 1.9 or 1.10 (edge not visibile through slab); KM Tn28. In NGC encapsulation 1757247-002, graded PF 63 BN.

The Monneron brothers had seen some success in producing medals for the King. They tried to take their success a step further by issuing currency tokens, by contract with the Soho Mint in England. Despite a significant mintage, the scheme went bankrupt.
