Palm tree with two bunches of dates; "Shim'on" (in Hebrew) across field / Grape leaf; "Y[ear] 2 of the freedom of Israel" (in retrograde Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 168–70 var. (O7/R– [unlisted rev. die]); Meshorer 261 var. (obv. legend; same rev. die); Hendin 6436a; Bromberg 266 var. (same; same rev. die); Shoshana –; Sofaer 97 (same rev. die); Spaer –. Dark green patina, light earthen dusting. Good VF.
