Grape bunch on vine tendril; "Shim'on'" (in Hebrew) around / Elongated kithara; "For the freedom of Jerusalem" (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 216.7 (O24/R139) = Bromberg 540 (this coin); Meshorer 275 (same obv. die as illustration); Hendin 6462; Shoshana I 20497 (same dies); Sofaer 129 (same obv. die); Spaer 223–4. Lightly toned, overstruck on an uncertain denarius of Trajan. Good VF.
