SICILY, Himera. Circa 425-409 BC. AR Hemidrachm (14mm, 2.09 g, 6h). Pan, holding kerykeion in left hand and blowing into conch shell in his right, riding goat right; retrograde [HI]-MEPAIO-N around lower edge / Nike flying left, holding filleted aphlaston in extended right hand and hem of dress with left; N-I-K-[A] around. HGC 2, 442; SNG ANS 19; Rizzo pl. XXI, 19. Toned, find patina on obverse, some porosity on reverse. VF. Struck on a broad flan.
