CAESARI AVGVSTO, laureate head left / S • P • Q • R • in exergue, Temple of Mars Ultor: round-domed, tetra-style temple set on podium of three steps; within, is a triumphal currus, carrying an aquila and a miniature, galloping quadriga right. RIC I 116; Calicó 285; BMCRE 387 = BMCRR Rome 4425 (same dies); BN 1218 var. (head right); Adda –; Biaggi –; Jameson –; Mazzini –. Scattered marks and scratches, slight bend in flan. Good VF.
