SICILY, Segesta. Circa 440/35-420/16 BC. AR Didrachm (22.5mm, 8.56 g, 12h). Hound standing right on exergue line; dotted circular border / Head of Aigiste right, hair in band; retrograde ΣECEΣT-AZIB around. Hurter, Didrachmenprägung 138c (V41/R80) = Jameson 705 (this coin); HGC 2, 1137; SNG Ashmolean 1877 (same dies). Old cabinet tone, flan crack, a little die wear on reverse. VF.
