Silk Road Region, Local Issue AV 'Solidus'. Imitating type used by Anastasius I. Uncertain eastern mint, early-mid 7th century AD. Helmeted, pearl-diademed and cuirassed bust facing three-quarters to right, holding spear over right shoulder and shield, blundered legend around / Victory standing facing, head to left, holding voided cross(?); star in left field, blundered legend around and in exergue.
