Ireland, Bank of Ireland 1978 (ND 1929) P-10cts PMG About UNC 55 10 Pounds (Color Trial Specimen)
The so-called Ploughman series is impossible to complete in issued form, as all 20, 50 and 100 Pound notes were redeemed. Both Color Trial and Specimen sets, however, are possible to complete and demand is high for both types regardless of the denomination. While the 10 Pound is very rarely available in issued form, they are generally in lower grades. This Color Trial is printed in red and is a striking difference from the issued note, which is blue. Rare opportunity. PMG mentions "Previously mounted".
