New Zealand, Bank of Australasia 1.7.1926 P-S132 PMG Choice Fine 15 1 Pound
Between 1923 and 1923 six private banks in New Zealand issued notes of uniform size and color (previously there had been no standardization). This 1 Pound, the middle denomination (of just three denominations in circulation during this period), was issued by the Bank of Australasia and falls in the middle of the pack for scarcity between the six issuing banks. Unusually for these notes this is a problem-free example and the first we have handled.
