Portuguese India 1.1.1924 P-24s PMG UNC 62 2 1/2 Rupias (Specimen)
An incredibly scarce specimen of the 2 1/2 Rupiah from the popular 1924 series of Portuguese India. Issued examples are extremely rare, so much that previously the grading services have designated this type as a color trial. It is, however, the issued colors, making it a specimen instead. As always, mounting remnants are seen on the back, but the overall eye-appeal is above average. We have been unable to locate any public offerings of this denomination in any form since at least 2016. An important opportunity for the specialist. PMG mentions "Previously mounted".
