Only a brief trace of circulation is present on this famed Commemorative issue, celebrating the Silver Jubilee of reign for King George V and Queen Mary. Windsor Castle is engraved on the back of this distinctly royal banknote. Only 140,000 were printed, but due to the passing of King George V in January of 1936, it is possible that some of the stock went unissued. A beautiful note and rare in high grade.
