Serial Number 4 Canada Bank of Canada $25 6.5.1935 BC-12 French Variety Commemorative PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. A mere 20,000 of these beautiful banknotes were printed in French, and almost all were redeemed within a few years of issue. Created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the reign of King George V and Queen Mary. Issuance was brief, as the King passed away in January 1936. This note features serial number 4, which adds desirability to an already top-tier note. Rare in any grade, especially so in Uncirculated grade. In fact, only three notes grade higher in the PMG Population Report than this example.
