Canada Bank of Canada $1000 1954 BC-44d Two Consecutive Examples PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ (2). A highly desirable consecutive set of extremely high face value banknotes, featuring the second to the final signature variety for this type. The modified portrait of Queen Elizabeth II enhances the front, and a vignette of Anse St. Jean on the Saguenay River in Quebec adorns the back. Although all notes from this series are dated 1954, they were released sparingly over time, with this variety not entering circulation until at least 1973. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/canada-bank-of-canada-1000-1954-bc-44d-two-consecutive-examples-pmg-choice-uncirculated-63-epq-2-/a/4035-28096.s?type=DA-DMC-CoinArchivesCurrency-WorldPaperMoney-4035-01062022 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
