Canada St. Johns, NF- Commercial Bank of Newfoundland $2 3.1.1888 Ch.# 185-18-04 PMG Fine 12. A surviving and well preserved $2 orange tint variety from the Commercial Bank of Newfoundland's last series. This example features the desirable 40 cent guarantee stamp, which was overprinted when the government revalued the banks issues at 20 percent of there former face value.
