South Africa Government of New Griqualand 1 Pond (= 1) 1.1.1868 Pick S361r1 Remainder PMG Very Fine 20. To date, notes from the Griqualand series of 1868 are only known in Remainder format. In fact, the British Empire absorbed the area in 1874, which would have rendered this previous series as void. Remainders are few and far between, and this is the first we have offered. Stains and previous mounting are mentioned for accuracy.
