GAUL, Aedui. Doubno, Circa 100-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12.5 mm, 1.98 g, 12 h). [ANOR] Bust to left, wearing torque. Rev. DVBNO Horse galopping right; wheel symbols above and below. CCCBM 473. DT 3221. Flesche 266. LT 4972. Scheers, Lyon 347. Toned. Good very fine.
From an old collection in Geneva, acquired from Münzen und Medaillen (with original collectors, & M&M ticket).

While we know very little about who Doubno was, it is possible that he may have been a remote ancestor of the American president, George W. Bush, who was known by the cognate 'Dubya', possibly alluding to a putative Celtic origin.
