KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.28 g, 12 h), Ephesus, c. 294-287. Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield and holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand; behind, transverse spear; in inner left field, bow in bowcase. HGC 3.2, 1753d. Thompson 171. Lightly toned. Very fine.
