MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.41 g, 6 h), Olynthos. Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. Τ-Ρ/Ι-Η Laurel branch. HGC 3.1, 507. Psoma, Monnaies, p. 103. Robinson & Clement Type 2 (as Trieros). Well centered. Light porosity, otherwise, very fine.


The inscription on the reverse is not an ethnic - Trieros - as had long been thought, but the denomination!!! Trih(emiobol).
