KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip V, 221-179 BC. (Bronze, 24 mm, 10.17 g, 5 h), uncertain mint in Macedon, c. 183/2-179. Radiate head of Helios to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Winged thunderbolt; ΔI monogram above, two monograms below; all within oak-wreath. HGC 3.1, 1062. Mamroth, Bronzemünzen 24d. Cf. SNG Alpha Bank 1110-5 (controls). Dark green patina. Porous, flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
