KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, Circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 11.03 g, 9 h), Astibos or Damastion. Laureate head of Apollo to right; pellet on neck. Rev. ΠΑΤΡΑΟΥ Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping to right and spearing fallen Macedonian soldier; close to horse's hind-legs, horizontal club. HGC 3.1, 148. Cf. Paeonian Hoard 85 (same dies). SNG ANS 1024 (same dies). Edge split at 5h and obverse slightly off-centre, otherwise, good very fine.
