WEST MAINLAND GREECE. Uncertain mint. Circa 500-480 BC. Diobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.88 g, 9 h), possibly a Corinthian colony on the Adriatic coast. Horse standing to right; above, and below, pellets. Rev. Δ (denomination) within incuse square. Unpublished in the standard references. A very unusual coin, stylistically close to the early Hekte of Mende. Very fine.
