PISIDIA. Termessos. 1st century BC. (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.79 g, 12 h), circa 70-60 BC. Laureate head of Artemis (?) to right. Rev. TEP Humped bull butting left. SNG BN 2104. Well centered and with an attractive dark green patina. Very fine.
This issue often depicts the draped bust of Artemis with a bow and quiver at her shoulder and wearing a diadem. Here we have a laureate head, leading to the question of whether Artemis or perhaps her brother Apollo is represented.
