SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 4.07 g, 1 h), Antioch on the Orontes, year ΞΡ = 160 = 153-152. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ Cornucopiae; to inner right, monograms of ΠΑ and ΗP; below, ΞP. SC 1642 (2), c. SMA 116. A nice piece with a good portrait of Demetrios. Thin flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.
