India. Temple Tokens (c. 1792-1850). CuNi, Mosque Token, Obv:. CU-NI. 11.90 g. 27.50 mm. VF. In the Indian region, so-called ramatankas or temple-tokens were specially designed or modeled on older coins and were used as entry tokens for certain temples; they also had an amulet character.
