French Colonial Issue Playing Card Money; Lot contains two pieces of historical New France playing card money. By 1720 almost all of the playing card money had been redeemed and burned with the remaining declared worthless. In this lot there is a three of clubs with a letter "N" on the back and a king with "Lionet" on the face and "X" on the back. Each measures approximately 2x3 inches. No folds on either piece, just signs of handling, and the edges exhibit aging. The face and back of the three of clubs also shows signs of separating. F-VF
