Pontos, Amisos. Time of Mithridates VI. Ca. 120-63 B.C. AE 21 (20.7 mm, 7.66 g, 11 h). Struck ca. 85-65 B.C. Helmeted head of Ares right / ΑΜΙ-ΣΟΥ, ethnic in field divided by vertical sword in scabbard, monograms to left and right in lower field. SNG BM Black Sea 1154-5; SNG Copenhagen 150. Good VF, sharply struck with minor "adjustment marks" to left; reverse somewhat rough; tan patina, minor deposits in recesses.
