Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon; dotted border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike crowning royal name in outstretched right hand, resting left arm on shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear beyond; ΞΔ monogram in inner left field, crescent left in exergue. Thompson 49 (Lampsacus). Müller 399. Boldly struck from superb, high-relief dies of refined style. Deep cabinet toning and incredible eye appeal.
