Republic "Paris Commune" 5 Francs 1871-A MS62 PCGS, Paris mint, KM823, Gad-744, F-334. Trident privy mark. Mintage: 75,000. A key French issue of the latter 19th century, minted for a short period from March 18th through May 28th during the insurrection in Paris that feared the temporary government would return France to a monarchy. Cabinet toning all over the razor-sharp devices.
