Bavaria. Ludwig I gold Ducat 1835 MS62 NGC, KM737.2, Fr-270b. An elusive one-year type with a mintage of only 2,048 pieces, and the only example graded in Mint State by either PCGS or NGC. Lightly Prooflike and abounding with fresh mint luster, a light flurry of hairlines in the obverse fields accounting for the grade, but vindicated by the admirably clean surfaces of the reverse.
