Rhenish Confederation. Carl von Dahlberg Taler 1808-BH MS64 PCGS, KM3, Dav-808. Large "B" under bust variety. A most pleasing example of this popular "Convention" Taler and currently the finest certified specimen to date. While fairly simple in terms of its composition, the surfaces remain pristinely preserved, lending an air of quality that is unmatched. Hardly a trace of weakness is detected through the firmed embossed raised features, all tempered by an icy argent patina tinged with mottled lavender tones. Certainly a great rarity when located this fine and problem free.
