Exceptionally well-preserved, not only for the Goldguldens of Matthias Corvinus specifically, but for any issue of this popular late medieval denomination. A crisp and centrally positioned strike has left clean rims framing the central elements, while carefully maintained satin luster grips the design motifs. Perhaps needless to say, the offering represents the single finest example seen by NGC to date, outranking the next representative by a full two grade points.
