Mexico
Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1811/0 Mo-HJ MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM160, Cal-1784, Onza-1256. A surprisingly fleeting overdate within the late colonial Mexican gold series, altogether missing from the Norweb, Gerber, and Eliasberg collections, with the Rudman example only certifying as a mere AU58. Tied with another example as the finest certified, between the three Mint state examples in the NGC and PCGS census. Boasting frosty, razor-sharp devices upon reflective semi-Prooflike fields, this specimen has it all.
