Estados Unidos brass Specimen Pattern Peso 1979-(Mo) SP65 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM-Unl., PL-146B (RRR). Eagle with incuse feathers, without mintmark. By Ricardo Luna Vasco. A companion piece of sorts to the previous lot, showing the familiar eagle with incuse feathers design as would be used on the adopted coinage. Of the 7 presently in the PCGS census, only 2 graded finer, one of which hammered for $1250 in June 2021.
