Miguel gold 7500 Reis (Peça) 1830 MS64 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM397, Fr-138, Gomes-16.01. Mintage: 2,274. A coin whose essentially Prooflike characteristics are legion: mirrorlike reflectivity even at an arm's length, sharply cut features and squared-off rims, and even a painstaking stippled texturing over the devices that renders a semi-frosted finish. Although perhaps not as "cameoed," we offered a piece of essentially parallel proportions in January 2016 NYINC Sale #3044--awarded a PL designation by NGC--which brought $4230 at the time.
