Basel. Canton silver "Hen" Medal ND (c. 1650) MS64 NGC, SM-1164. 27mm. 5.83gm. Exceptionally well-preserved for the type, and likely one of the finest survivors in existence with the eye appeal to match! A sparkling sheen of luster to both faces is enhanced by a pervasive electric blue obverse iridescence, while the city view of Basel is gorgeously framed in bright touches of fiery gold, amber, and cerulean accents at the extremities.
