Freiburg. Canton 4 Franken 1813 MS65+ NGC, KM79, Dav-363, HMZ-2-283. Mintage: 2,429. A truly handsome example of this ever-popular Cantonal issue that leaves an impression of visual balance and quality that renders this offering highly desirable. Lavishly and carefully struck upon an argent canvas that demonstrates cascading silvery luster sweeping the fields upon rotation. A subtle iridescent silhouette punctuates the coin at hand, elevating the already advanced aesthetic caliber. We note the Cape Coral specimen we offered just one year prior was only an MS65, this being the sole example finer and as such, we expect a hammer price consistent with that fact.
