ABBASID: AE fals (2.54g), ND, A-338, citing Sa'id b. Dahlaj, well known for silver hemidrachms and some extremely rare copper fulus of Tabaristan dated AH160 (Malek-87A); this example is undated and stylistically very different from Malek's type, and may have been struck at one of several other locations where Sa'id b. Dahlaj also served as governor, perhaps Sijistan or Sind, unpublished, VF, RRR.
