TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-19th century, cast large tin coin (39.15g), Robinson-Plate 10:2/10:4, 66mm; stylized image of the "dragon on sea", simplified "head" and "tail", with the waves portrayed as dots (22 dots in 3 rows), additional dotted circle above // 3-line Burmese legend (Robinson-B1, with one additional letter below), boldly cast, but with many tiny casting flaws within the margin, EF to About Unc, RR. Another example with the same dotted circle was sold in our Auction 33, Lot 987, cast from the same mold.
