BURMESE KINGDOMS: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, octagonal cast large tin coin (22.94g), Millies-230, Robinson-Pl. 20, No. 2, 62mm; knotted dragon right, no dots or other symbols below the dragon // 3-line Burmese legend with Chinese-style square in the center (legend B6); much weakness on the obverse, strong reverse, several tiny casting defects near the edge, crude VF, RRRR. This type was originally illustrated by Tavernier in his publication in 1678 and may be the earliest of all large tin coins of Tenasserim.
