Orange. Raymond V gold Florin d'Or ND (1340-1393) AU Details (Scratches) NGC, Fr-189 (listed under Raymond III and Raymond IV), Dup-2072. 3.45gm. (cornet) R • DI • G • | P • AuRA, stylized lily / S • IϴHA | NNES • B •, St. John the Baptist nimbate and mantled, standing facing, scepter in left hand, raising right in benediction, helmet above. Extremely minorly scratched in the field to the right of St. John, though even to the naked eye this is of minor visual consequence. Wear in general is relatively scant, suggesting a higher quality specimen than the assigned grade may at first suggest, very near to Mint State.
