Honore II Scudo (Ecu or 60 Sols) 1649 XF40 NGC, KM14.1, Dav-4305, Gad-MC29. A fleeting type that remains difficult to acquire in all states of preservation, yet here seen with strong circulated eye appeal -- the result of balanced wear and a delightful steel-blue patina that carries elements of colorful iridescence in the outer registers. One of a mere three examples certified by NGC to date.
