A wonderful modernistic design, way ahead of its time, for the new issue of the Currency Board, which ultimately appeared less than a year later, dated 21st March 1953. One could speculate that the Singapore bird series of a few years later (1976) was inspired by this design and this designer. For an absolutely unique item and highly important for the development of British South East Asian currency. PCGS Currency 64 Very Choice New. Unique.
