With typed label "Design 'B' selected - Ware: see order sheet re-white line pattern before producing proof." Initials 'J.D.'[?] dated '7/5/74' (7th May 1974).
The reference to "white line pattern" refers to some engraving being
reversed. Thus the term "white line" engraving.
