Obverse: Bust of Sir Ralph Abercromby facing to left flanked by legend; Reverse: View of Port of Spain, Trinidad, fort waving British flag and several ships, mountains in background, above three-line inscription in exergue, legend around. This RARE type in gold commemorates the British capture of St. Lucia and Trinidad from the French in 1797. This example shows all the features of being a special product, with reflective fields that have an almost cameo appearance. Signs of handling consistent for the grade displaying and attractive pale golden coloration offering a pleasing appearance.
