Cancelled perforations are found on both examples. Printed by TDLR. With black TDLR specimen stamps. Both front and back proofs offered here are the sole encapsulated for the varieties by PMG. The front proof displays a dark brown border design with the underprint comprised of a light yellow/gold ink. At right underneath the "ONE DOLLAR" font is a light red guilloche. On the right end of the note are quadruple "1" counters surrounding the seal. The back proof's design is in a dark blue ink, and showcases intricate lathe work by the engraver. PMG comments "Previously Mounted" on both notes. Both notes are PMG Pop 1/No Others Graded.
