Redeemable at Lahore or Calcutta. No. 45230. Signature of O.T. Barrow. Four languages on two panels. Just two examples of this incredibly scarce variety have been graded by PMG. This is the first time in our lengthy history that we have had the pleasure of handling this variety & denomination. Expect spirited bidding on this lot to take this treasure home, as it may be sometime before this type appears at public auction again. Found at top is "Government Of India" encased within geometric lathe work. The underprint, comprising the "TWENTY" and design surrounding the serial numbers, is seen in a olive green ink.
