HGC-2, 363; Jenkins-47.2 (O14/R19; this coin); SNG ANS-8 (same obv. die). Obverse: Nude warrior riding horse right, holding reins and preparing to cast javelin held over head; Reverse: Forepart of man-headed bull right; all within incuse circle. Very deeply toned, this enchanting example is struck somewhat off-center on the obverse, but features a boldly struck reverse with some hints of brilliance emanating from the protected areas.
