HGC-3.1, 545; Noe-81; SNG ANS-344 (same obv. die). Obverse: Inebriated Dionysos, holding kantharos, reclining on the back of a donkey standing right; Reverse: Incuse square containing vine with leaves, tendrils, and five bunches of grapes. Though the reverse is somewhat weak in spots, this alluring specimen presents a rather well struck obverse with a carefully produced die of fine style. Charmingly toned and well centered.
