MACEDON. Kingdom of Macedon. Philip III, 323-317 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (17.21 gms), Babylon Mint, ca. 323-318/7 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Marks.
Pr-P181. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; M in left field; below throne, ΛΥ above strut. A bit off center on the obverse, along with some minor noted marks, but quite appealing and bold, with a deep gray cabinet tone.
